The Black Mirror TV series is available on Netflix for your viewing pleasure, or maybe I mean for your viewing discomfort. Let me explain.  Black Mirror is described as a science fiction anthology programme. Each episode is a stand-alone work that takes the viewer into a different world or time in the future and makes the viewer consider both the impact and the consequences of technology on humanity.(wiki.com)


The first episode involves the kidnapping of a British Princess and the stomach-churning ransom demand that the British Prime Minister must have intercourse with a pig on live television. Yup, you read that right. Things just get more complicated from there. But talk about a hook. I found myself on the edge of my seat wondering what the heck will happen next. Yet,  I could not help but sympathize with all involved and wonder if this will be a new type of terrorism in the not too distant future. read more

The Cast Of Game of Thrones

Game of Thrones is an HBO produced series that is based on a book series of A Song of Ice and Fire written by George R.R. Martin. George R.R. Martin is a novelist who was born on September 20, 1948, in New Jersey.

HBO bought the rights to A Song of Fire and Ice in 2007 and the first episode of the series aired on the cable network on April 17, 2011. As of the summer of 2017, there have been 7 seasons of Game of Thrones and it has been said that the series will end after season 8.

Mindhunter Book and John Douglas

The Mindhunter series on Netflix is loosely based on the book written by John Douglas, an ex-FBI agent. The book was published in 1995 and is titled Mindhunter: Inside the FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit. 

I read this book years ago. I have been intrigued by the work that John Douglas did in the FBI and he was a pioneer in the Behavioural Sciences Unit. read more

Kindred Spirits TV Show

Kindred Spirits is a television show the airs on the TLC network in North America. The show’s stars are Amy Bruni and Adam Berry. Amy and Adam travel to help people that claim to be experiencing paranormal activities in their homes. Some of the people on the show contacted either Amy or Adam due to poltergeist activity or seeing shadowy figures. The clients are scared, nervous, and uncomfortable in their homes. They need assistance to figure out what is happening and how to deal with it.
